While in Juneau we saw Humpback Whales 'Bubble Net Feeding'. This is when the matriarch leads the pod in swimming round and round in a circle corralling the fish. They then rise to the surface with their mouths wide open thus scooping up their prey.

While we were in Seward we saw a Sea Otter. Sea Otters are know for laying in the water on their backs. They eat in this position and are often seen holding food on their stomach whilst munching away on it. Sadly we did not witness this, but we did get a couple of photos of one lazing about in the water.
